It Is God’s Will that ALL are Healed
Healing is for you, right now.
Whether or not you’re a Christian, Jesus Christ loves you and desires to see you healed. It’s not a matter of what church you go to now or whether or not you go to church at all. It’s also not a matter of the things you have done in your past. The simple fact is that Jesus Christ loves you now. The issue of whether or not you are on the path of going to heaven is something we can talk about later. Right now I just want you to realize that healing, through Jesus Christ, is available to everyone He loves—and He loves everyone!
Your Vision: Your Relationship with Christ in the Light of Kingdom Reality
My heart burns for the coming and present moves of God. It’s imminently upon us—right now—sweeping across the face of the earth like a tidal wave of glorious light! It’s tearing down strongholds, breaking apart resistance, healing the sick, raising the dead, and delivering the captive. It’s a superior reality, directly opposed to the tormented reality of the world currently held under the sway of the dominating kosmokratoras (rulers of darkness who manipulate and control willing human agents). God’s reality is the supernatural Kingdom of unequivocal, unrelenting, ever-pursuing love of a Father-son relationship. It’s this reality in which we must exist if we are to survive the fervent hostility of demonic entities lurking behind governments, organizations, political parties, institutions, social circles, cities, states, nations, and, yes, even religious institutions—perhaps even your church.
No longer do we have time to play—to “get ready to do something” in the Kingdom. The time of “waiting for the right moment” is passing presently by. It has become a matter of supreme importance that we comprehend the reality in which we are supposed to walk—supernatural; other worldly, and Kingdom-focused. While the satanic order may have largely orchestrated your life up to now, its influence, rule, and stranglehold must be broken and conquered. It’s only in the Kingdom reality that you can walk in the supernatural and defeat the opposing forces of darkness hell-bent on keeping you in their anguished dimension. . . . Continue reading
Your Vision: You Will Do Greater Works
Supernatural miracle working power is not set aside for a select few, super-anointed men and women. It is required of all of us—it’s built into the nature of our walk. Are you prepared to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, calm storms, speak prophetic words, and live in an atmosphere of open heaven where signs and wonders abound in your life? If you “believe” as Jesus said you must, then these same supernatural works will become a normal part of your Christian walk.
Jesus did no miracles under His own power. While He walked this earth, He had no ability of His own to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, or turn water into wine. People get the wrong idea that He performed miracles using His powers as God. But He instead laid down His divinity and performed His mighty works as a man filled with the Holy Spirit and operating in right relationship with the Father. He said about Himself that “the Son can do nothing of Himself” (John 5:19). When Jesus walked this earth, He walked under the self-imposed restrictions of human flesh, not as God. His earthly life was laid out as a model for us to follow—to know what the NORMAL Christian walk looks like. . . . Continue reading
Your Vision: You Are Endued with Power From On High
The desire to wield power is built into the nature of the human race. The fact is that when presented with an opportunity to exercise control over others, even in small, momentary ways, most humans will not shun the chance. Now I know that many learned scholars will counter with their theories and reasoning that an understanding of the psychology of power is not yet fully resolved—that the “will to power” may be more learned conditioning than natural instinctive behavior. But the wisdom of their scholarship is foolishness to God. In the supernatural world in which we also exist, the will to power is a general force underlying all reality. Collectively the entire world seeks power. From family relationships, to school cliques, to local school boards, to politics at all levels, to nations, I believe that most people seek some measure of power and control over others. Unfortunately, the power that is arrogated by the world is intimately intertwined with the satanic kingdom.
1 John 5:19
19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.
Sorry, but the wisdom of man to explain the psychology of power is simply futile. Such can save much time and energy by admitting that all worldly power struggle stems from the powers of evil—period. . . . Continue reading
Is God the Healer or the Afflicter?
What if the God that you think you know isn’t the God of the Bible?
Most people spend a considerable portion of their Christian walk wondering about the true nature of God. I’ve been a Christian for 40 years and allowed myself to be dragged through a roller coaster ride of doctrines and ministries. Each one has attempted to reveal to me the persona and nature of God. But these “revelations” were all over the map—some telling me that God tests us, others telling me that He doesn’t; some telling me that God heals people today, others telling me He doesn’t; some telling me that signs and wonders and miracles ceased after the New Testament was written, others telling me about the powerful operation of God’s power in our world today. These different doctrines preached to me over the years kept me mostly in limbo about the truth. But in spite of living a life of worldly worship, pride, willful sin, and belief in my own power, I managed to spend enough time reading and studying the Bible to see, at least partly, who He is. In fact, Jesus told us who God is when He answered one of His disciples who wanted Jesus to show God the Father to them: . . . Continue reading
When You’re All Alone, There is Someone!
When the darkest night is closing in and the slightest glimmer escapes;
When despair and heartache are familiar companions;
And your heart of stone is unwelcome—for no heart at all would be better than the pain you’re feeling;
When you’re touching “can’t care anymore” because numbness has overtaken your dying emotions;
And hope caught the last train out of your emptiness;
When you’ve tried so many times but end up worse;
And you simply want to go back; A time, a place that was simpler; better;
When you’re all alone, a life desolate; There is Someone!
When you’ve given up on living on the other side; The impassable canyon between your reality and where you thought you’d be;
You have been overtaken by circumstances, trials, tribulations, entanglements, and hopelessness; You’re captured; Taken;
When the fruit of your life lies as lifeless pits on the barren ground;
And your faith is dazed; It’s not really faith anymore;
Does God even want to help? How can God fix what you’ve wrought?
Did you misunderstand God? Did He misunderstand you? Is He nowhere?
When you’re all alone, a life relinquished; There is Someone! . . . Continue reading
The Path from Insanity to Abundance
Jesus Christ longs to touch your life. He pleads for you to turn your eyes and heart towards Him. He yearns for your outstretched hand that He may touch you. He hungers to give you victory in life where you are experiencing defeat. His purpose for you is to love you so much that you end up spending an eternity in His Kingdom, living in royalty, joy, peace, and wholeness. Not just in heaven, but also here on earth. He wants to take your failures and turn them into resounding successes. He wants to take your weaknesses and make them strengths. He wants to take your depression and make it hope. He wants to turn your sadness into joy. And He doesn’t want to wait until you fulfill some set of ministry classes, give a bunch of money to church, or even have you attending church every Sunday for 5 years. He wants to do this now.
So what’s He waiting for? . . . Continue reading
Just One Touch!
Just one touch from Jesus Christ changes everything! No matter where in life you are now, and no matter where you have been, God will not turn His back on you. God will not reject you and turn you away. Jesus went to the cross to pay the price necessary for your freedom. No problem is too big or too small. Jesus has already overcome all of them. Jesus says at the end of the book of John:
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NKJV)
Pay particular attention to the very last part of this verse. Jesus says that He has “overcome the world.” He overcame the world so that you too can overcome the world. You see, His death on the cross was not just a symbolic event. His death and resurrection changed the entire structure and functioning of the relationship between God and man. That means everything in the world that tries to defeat you in this life, has already been crushed by the Power of Jesus Christ. Every sickness, disease, lack, poverty, stress, strife, depression, trouble, and turmoil that the world throws at you was defeated when Jesus died on the cross and rose again three days later. Nothing in this world is more powerful than Jesus Christ. Therefore, when you become part of the Kingdom of God, you are given the exact same rights and authority as Jesus. So you too have already overcome the world.
If it doesn’t feel like you have–if you are not seeing the peace, joy, wholeness, and abundance of God in your life right now, hold on tight. You will learn more in this blog about how to make the reality of Jesus Christ a reality in your life.
Perhaps, you just need His touch. Just a single touch from the King changes everything in your life. Just one touch and you will be whole again (Mark 5:28)
The woman with a lifelong illness in Mark 5, thought to herself that she only needed “Just one touch…Just one touch and I will be whole again.”
And she was! And so will you!
See “Just One Touch from the King” by Godfrey Birtill for the really amazing worship song that gave me some of the inspiration to start this blog.
